Photographer: Lorne Trousdell

Where: Lac Le Jeune, B.C.

When: June 2016

Details: On the day of this awesome action shot, Mission, B.C.’s Mark Trousdell and his brother, Lorne, had been fishing chironomid patterns all morning with moderate success. After observing some damselflies in the water, however, Mark switched to a damselfly nymph pattern and soon hooked into a nice rainbow. Lorne was in another boat with their father when he clicked the shutter. An avid angler and hunter, Mark says he and his brother have been taking photographs of their outdoor pursuits for three years now. The pair’s photos can be found on Instagram under @Athletes_Hunt.

PRIZE: $1,000 Bass Pro Shops Gift Card
