Tacky Fly Box

Deep enough to hold both big streamers and tiny midges, this durable fly box is well thought out. The clear polycarbonate case is shatter resistant and held shut by magnets rather than a latch. And instead of foam, the insert is silicon, with offset, teardrop-shaped slits allowing you to place big flies near small ones.

TL Mini & Little Bugger

Many anglers have abandoned heavy vests that cause neck and shoulder pain in favour of packs. Adding to its existing line of full-sized packs, Vedavoo now offers the TL Mini (left), a smaller pack that still holds everything for a day of fishing, and the Little Bugger (right). Featuring a fully adjustable strap, the Bugger is ideal for young anglers who are still growing.

Nymph-Head Evolution Beads

Flymen, the company behind the innovative Fish-Skull weights, has created a line of beadhead weights that match the shape, size and colour of actual insect heads, including mayflies, stoneflies and caddisflies. The tungsten beadheads range in size from extra-small to extra-large, and are available in brown, olive, black and gold.

Barracuda Aluminum Clipper

Finally, here’s a true innovation in line clippers. Instead of two blades that press together, the Barracuda’s single steel blade contacts a chopping block, much like a knife against a cutting board. Incredibly sharp, the blade will even cut braid. Set in a tubular brushed-aluminum body, the clipper includes a needle to clear fly eyes.
