DETAILS: Len Murphy was cutting his front lawn when he caught some movement out of the corner of his eye and looked down to see a garter snake eating a toad. “I ran into the house to get my camera,” he says. “I barely had enough time to take a few shots, as the meal was going down very quickly.” A long-time Outdoor Canada subscriber, Murphy says he usually carries a camera to capture interesting outdoor scenes.
