Best known as a pioneer of many new bass techniques—one of which nabbed him an 8.2 pound smallmouth in October 2014—Chong is also a versatile mulit-species angler who can often be found shore fishing around Toronto. And he was a leading voice of reason when, several years ago, the city tried to ban angling along its expansive waterfront. Here Chong chats about the pleasures and challenges of fishing in the city, and offers some great tips for urban anglers.
