After waiting in my tree stand for hours on end I finally could hear the sound of something moving up the hill where I was and sure enough i could see clear as day that it was a deer so I slowly went for my rifle which was to the right of me and once I was lined up comfortably for my shot my 308 turned out to be jammed and in that moment I pulled back the leaver and let out the bullet once it hit the floor of the tree stand the buck heard me and stood there staring at me as if I was a pair of headlights so I stood up off my stool and re loaded my rifle lined myself up again and fired my shot taking him down from 75 yards...I'm telling this story two days later and I can still feel the adrenaline pumping through my veins!
