Arctic Cat says the new Alterra is the most off-road-capable ATV it’s ever built. With 11 inches of ground clearance and 10 inches of suspension travel, it can certainly tackle all types of terrain in all types of conditions. And the on-the-fly 2WD/4WD with front differential lock promises to make it easy to get out of tough situations. Featuring improved ergonomics and easier handling, the Alterra has a smaller turning radius than comparable models, making it well suited for tight trails.
