There are hunters out there who head afield with only one thing in mind: adventure. A hardy breed, they travel to some of the most remote, inhospitable and dangerous corners of the country. But it’s not the sight of a trophy animal that causes their adrenaline to flow—it’s getting there and back alive that’s the reward. Bumps, blisters, bruises, broken bones and frostbite are all reminders of the adventure, and they wear the scars proudly. For them, the tougher the hunt, the better. How tough?
