George Gruenefeld

Since the late 1950s, George Gruenefeld has hunted and fished across North America, with forays into Africa, South and Central America and Russia. He served as outdoor columnist for the Montreal Gazette for more than 25 years before moving to Saskatchewan in 1994 to edit fishing and hunting magazines. That vocation took him to B.C. in 1999, where he continues to explore outdoor adventures throughout the province and points east of the Rockies. Gruenefeld has served as Outdoor Canada’s Vancouver-based Field Editor since 2003.
