Attention all outdoorsfolk attending the Sochi Olympics: Fishing in a toilet, with a fishing rod, is strictly forbidden. That’s the latest bit of news to come in advance of the 2014 Winter Olympics, kicking off February 7.

According to a story in The Independent newspaper, Canadian snowboarder Sebastien Toutant was checking out his accommodations when he came across a chart describing what he called the "Sochi rules in the bathrooms." So, as any tech-savvy athlete with a sense of humour would do, he posted a photo on twitter. One of the graphics clearly shows a man fishing in the toilet. With a fishing rod.

I’m really not sure what this says about Russian plumbing, eating habits, or if the chart designers were just having a laugh, but if you do happen to find yourself in an Olympic cafeteria, it’s probably best to stick to the meatloaf.
