Honourable mentions from the 7th annual Outdoor Canada photo contest

Trying to decide the winners in each of the four categories of our annual photo contest, as well as the overall grand prize, is no small task. Every year, we get hundreds, if not thousands, of entries and look at every single one. There's always more that catch our eyes than we can pick as winners, so we also make a collection of honourable mentions. In no particular order, here are the photos that made our runners-up list from all the four categories: Fishing, Hunting, Family and Wildlife and Wild Places.

To see the winning photos, pick up a copy of our Adventure Special issue, on newsstands June 18.
