When to fish: June through July is prime.

Where to fish: Key in on shorelines with steep drops and sparse weed growth.

Tip: Toss wacky-rigged worms or tube jigs.

When to fish: June and July.

Where to fish: Any point with weeds will hold fish, and windy points are particularly good.

Tip: Use a drop-shot rig tipped with a three-inch Gulp! Fry in Watermelon.
