New for muzzle-loading hunters is Hornady’s Bore Driver FTX bullet. The polymer base is not a sabot, but rather it’s designed to seal the bore, enabling the delivery of maximum energy and accuracy. Hornady says that makes them easier and faster to load than traditional saboted bullets. The Bore Driver FTX weighs 290 grains and offers a muzzle velocity of 1920 fps.
