The G. Loomis EX6 WBBR is a one-piece 7’1” medium-heavy fast-action casting rod, capable of using eight to 17-pound-test line, and lures ranging from ½ to 2 ounces. They feature high-modulus graphite which makes them extremely sensitive and durable. They are lightweight, as they’re built with a multi-taper design that reinforces potential stress points within the blank, while reducing unnecessary graphite material. They have Grade A cork handles and trigger piece on the bottom to help you hold the rod. While these rods are called casting rods, I use them for bottom bouncing as they are long enough to get the rod tip out and away from the boat, sturdy, yet highly sensitive and can handle even the largest of bottom bouncers without bending over while trolling.
