What’s with the obsession Canadian hunters have with white-tailed deer? In some respects, it’s counterintuitive, in that most things we absolutely fixate over tend to be exceedingly rare or extraordinarily difficult to obtain. I understand the single-mindedness of sheep hunters, for example. Unless you’re laser-beam-focused, your chances of successfully hunting a ram are pretty slim. But whitetails?
