Why we chose it
Cutthroat trout; Breathtaking scenery, good numbers of fish and little pressure
When to fish: August and September.
Where to fish: Roughly 30 kilometres upstream of the Kootenay Trout Hatchery.
Tip: Grind the low water, and fish pools and eddies with big hoppers such as Chernobyl Ants or large foam hoppers.
