Why we chose it

Coho; Beautiful scenery, scrappy fish and a great lodge

When to fish: July through August.

Where to fish: Focus on the “Gap” on the west side of Moresby Island.

Tip: Try a mooching rod and a cutplug, or troll green-and-white, red-and-white or black-and-yellow bucktail flies 10 to 12 feet deep on a 9- or 10-weight saltwater fly rod.
