HAND HELP
Anglers and hunters need to strike a balance between warmth and dexterity, so consider the weather conditions and how you’ll be using your hands when deciding which gloves, mitts or muffs to use.

Insulated, full-fingered gloves or mitts keep hands warm until it’s time to pull the trigger or pick up your rod. Just be sure you can remove them quickly and silently if you’ll be hunting. Lighter gloves and half-finger designs offer less warmth, but they can often be worn while you shoot or cast.
MATERIAL
For fishing and waterfowling, select gloves made from waterproof or quick-drying material. Stretchy, synthetic materials offer a good fit and flexibility, but they should also have a non-slip coating to ensure a good grip. As well, they should have an insulating layer, if needed.
