The wild and wonderful winning photos from Outdoor Canada’s 14th Annual Photo Contest

Many treasured outdoor adventures are immortalized through photography, as the impressive entries in our annual photo contest clearly show. And not surprisingly, it was once again a difficult, yet rewarding challenge to choose just three winners in each of the following four categories. 1ST PLACE FISHING

WHEN: September 2024

DETAILS: On the last leg of a 142-kilometre canoe trip, Wesley McTaggart photographed his friend TK making a few casts as dawn broke over the misty waters of the French River. Ironically, it was the first time they’d seen the sun for their entire trip.
