With a two-piece thermoformed hull (rather than Hobie’s usual one-piece rotomolded hull) the Passport is significantly lighter in weight and less expensive than most of Hobie’s fishing line. Yet the 2021 model still boasts the company’s  premium MirageDrive GT pedal drive with Kick-Up Fins, which “kick-up” when they hit an obstacle, and then automatically redeploy. The Passport is also fishfinder ready, and has an EVA-padded standing platform, rod holders and other goodies.
