This 80-kilometre-long waterway just east of northern Ontario’s Lake Nipigon offers tremendous multispecies fishing for pike, walleye and yellow perch in the northern half and trophy lake trout and whitefish in the southern basin. It’s easily accessed via the Trans-Canada Highway, and there are plenty of nearby accommodation options, including Longlac Lodge and Cabins.
