Tackle Week 2015: 7 Essential New Angling Accessories

These Motors, Electronics and Tools Will Help You Find, Hold On To and Even Release Your Trophy Fish

Best Conservation Tool

When some fish species, such as smallmouth bass, are caught in deep water, air in their swim bladder can prevent them from swimming back down. EcoLeeser’s new RokLees release tool lets you save fish suffering from barotrauma without the need to fizz them with a needle. Simply attach the rubbed-padded mouth clip to the fish’s lower jaw, then gently lower the fish back down to the bottom where it can equalize the pressure in its swim bladder. To release the fish and retrieve the RokLees, just jerk up on the line.
