I’ve always been intrigued by what keeps the best bass anglers consistently at the top of their game. Sure, a little luck never hurts, but there has to be more to it than that. Is it all about staying up-to-date with the latest trends? Do you need to constantly refine your techniques, making subtle adjustments that keep the fish guessing?

Maybe the secret to being a top angler is to be really good at a few key things, or to simply log more time on the water. Or is there something deeper? Do some anglers truly have a sixth sense, a feel for what the fish are doing at any point in the season?
