Without a doubt, digital rangefinding bow sights are niche products, but still worth a look. Housing a small laser rangefinder that automatically reads and displays the distance to the target, these sights also calculate angle compensation. They’re activated by a silent, single-button trigger, and depending on the brand and model, they generally range out to 100 yards or more on an animal target, and even further on a reflective target.

On the market now for a few years, Garmin’s Xero A1 was one of first digital rangefinder sights; other manufacturers also now offer them, including Burris with its Oracle. Note that some jurisdictions regulate or prohibit the use of rangefinding sights, so be sure to check the local regulations where you plan to hunt before buying one.
