The scientific name for the giant Canada geese we see all across Canada is Branta Canadensis Maxima. So, when Shawn Stahl and RNT Calls designed a goose call for these big birds they called it the Branta Max. I highly recommend these calls for all goose-hunting dads. They’re easy to blow, and produce the sounds of giant Canada geese (also known as honkers). With a little practice between now and goose season, dad should be able to make all kinds of clucks, honks and moans to draw in the geese. To achieve goosy sounds, these calls are made with high-quality acrylic, and have a custom shaved Mylar reed. Each call is hand tuned by World Goose Calling Champion Shawn Stahl to perfectly replicate the resonating sounds of the Giant Canada Goose.
