Atlantic salmon; Spectacular scenery, good runs and easy access to prime pools

When to fish: July.

Where to fish: Find fast water running in and out of steady water; Jack’s and Bristol’s Pools are favourites.

Tip: A variety of flies work, including the Blue Charm and The Ned, a local favourite.
