Mazinaw Lake
Plunging to 475 feet deep, eastern Ontario’s Mazinaw Lake is home to healthy natural populations of lake trout and whitefish. But this Shield lake also boasts plentiful largemouth and smallmouth bass, walleye, pike and panfish. A great base for anglers is Bon Echo Provincial Park, which features 500 campsites, a boat launch and docking. For more about fishing and camping in the park, see www.outdoorcanada.ca/2016bonecho.
