North Bay, Ontario’s Desmond Nichol was fishing with his son and brother on Lake Temagami in October 2021 when he boated this monster 32-inch walleye, complete with a burbot in its maw. It was one of three walleye topping 30 inches Desmond caught that day, and as a bonus, he’d just learned his recent cancer treatment was a success.
