Improve your angling skills by mixing up your approach
Are you utterly content with the size and number of fish you catch? If so, you’re my hero. I envy both your mastery of fly fishing and your Zen attitude. But most anglers, myself included, feel as though we have room for improvement.
About a decade ago, I realized my skills had plateaued, so I decided to challenge myself to become a better fly fisherman. It’s been a very satisfying process, and fun, too—after all, I was studying fly fishing, not homological algebra. Here are a few ways you, too, can deepen your knowledge of fly fishing, develop your skills and, of course, catch more fish.
