Invasive goldfish removed since 2020 from B.C.’s Dragon Lake using electrofishing. Thought to have originated from released pet goldfish, the burgeoning population has been competing with the 225-hectare lake’s coveted rainbow trout, and otherwise disrupting the local ecosystem.
