From first moose to trophy muskox: Outdoor Canada readers share some of their best new hunting photos

After years of applying for the moose draw, Karen Strukoff (above) finally succeeded and harvested this giant bull on last year’s opener near St. Brieux, Saskatchewan.

Hunting out of northern Ontario’s Golden Eagle Camp, Brent Wanless (above) took this nice boar last September, his second black bear since recently retiring.

Just three days into a week-long hunt with her husband, Steven Humphries, Cara Spencer (above) tagged her first moose last October near Wandering River, Alberta.
