Try to take each step without making noise#3 ALWAYS BE STEALTHY
The more effort you make to not be seen, heard or winded, the better your odds of seeing a moose. Always watch the wind and either walk right into it or have it quartering over your shoulder and away from the direction you’re headed.
When stalking along a cutline, don’t walk down the middle, where moose can easily spot you. Instead, follow the edge so that you blend in with the treeline. If possible, walk in the shadows to further conceal yourself.

Always be aware of any branches, twigs or leaves on the ground that could crackle or snap if stepped on. Try to take each step without making any noise. If necessary, plant your heel or toe, then slowly wiggle the rest of your foot quietly into position.
