Carter Steinkey, 12, celebrated his first-ever whitetail last November following a successful hunt with his dad, Shane, in Saskatchewan’s Maple Creek area. “The buck was sitting with a hot doe at 80 yards,” says mom Jaime, who submitted the photo. “One well-placed shot was all it took.”
