I love to drop shot for walleye, bass, black crappies, yellow perch and trout in backcountry waters. It’s one of the most efficient, effective and precise fish presentations ever developed. And it doesn’t matter whether you tip your hook with live bait or a soft-plastic offering.

The shape of the weight that you choose for the end of your line, however, can play a big role in your fishing success, so what is the the best one to use: ball or cylinder?
