Winter getaway: Icing lakers at Windy Lake Provincial Park

As well as keeping the park running smoothly in winter—which is no small job—they’re both anglers, and they very generously shared some great fishing tips. Windy Lake Provincial Park is located just off Highway 144, about 45 minutes drive northwest of Sudbury, Ontario. Its 2019 winter season runs until March 17, 2019, and the 2019 summer season goes from May 17 to September 2. Winter cabins and yurts can be reserved through Ontario Parks’ online reservation system or calling 1-888-668-7275.
