When to fish: July through August.

Where to fish: The open water 40 miles out from Prince Rupert.

Tip: Use two- to four-inch foam baitfish-pattern dries for surface takes, three- to five-inch Deceivers that mimic herring or needlefish, or light spoons such as the Luhr Jensen Coyote Spoon.
