Why we chose it:

Largemouth bass; Great numbers of fish weighing up to five pounds

When to fish: Late season, starting at the end of August.

Where to fish: Green weedbeds in three to six feet of water, or rice beds.

Tip: Use Gulp Sinking Minnows in watermelon, or twitch weedless soft jerkbaits just below the surface in rice beds.
