It has eight ball bearings, an aircraft-aluminum frame and a sideplate that locks the internal gear system into place, all making for a smooth performance and outstanding long-distance casting. At 6.6 ounces, it’s much smaller than comparable reels, allowing you to cast smaller, lighter lures a long way without backlashing. I don’t have large hands, so I love the way the Tatula fits like a glove.
