Alberta Foothills
With cougar populations in Alberta expanding, there’s never been a better time to hunt these predators. The province is the only North American jurisdiction to record three cats with 16-inch skulls and bigger, so a monster tom is a real possibility. The foothills region south of the North Saskatchewan River is a good bet. Contact the Alberta Professional Outfitters Society to arrange one of these challenging winter hunts.
