Algonquin’s brook trout are the most southerly, naturally sustaining population of brookies on the planet and a Canadian fishing treasure. The massive wilderness park offers 2,400 lakes and 1,200 kilometres of rivers and streams, much of them filled with these gorgeous fish. Most of the picture-postcard lakes are less than 40 hectares in size, making them perfect for backcountry anglers.
