In this episode, John Peach (above), executive director of Save The River, lays out his plans to engage the U.S. federal and New York state governments to spend $778 million to prevent Asian carp from entering the Great Lakes.

The proposed technology includes an acoustic fish deterrent, an electric dispersal barrier, an engineered channel, a flushing lock and other measured designed to stop carp, while still allowing ships to transit between Lake Michigan and the Mississippi River.
