In this episode of Blue Fish Radio, producer/host Lawrence Gunther talks to Neil Dempster, a biologist with the St. Lawrence River Institute of Environmental Sciences. Dempster has spent the last two years sorting through fish consumption advisories for the upper St. Lawrence River, and his finding include important lessons for recreational anglers. In addition, he believes that government has to improve transparency and public awareness about consumption advisories, to head off a potential health crisis.
