Exclusive video: How to use a quick-strike rig for giant pike and walleye

It is that time of year again, when the biggest northern pike of the season hit the hardwater deck. And if you’re really lucky, as we were the other day, you’ll catch gorgeous walleyes mixed in with the big toothy critters. We turned on the cameras at the start of the day and didn’t turn them off until we were headed home in the evening, after putting a dozen fish topside. Here is how we did it.
