Total coyote sightings reported in the City of Vaughan just north of Toronto in 2025 (as of September). Incidents included attacks on pets and aggressive daylight encounters with children. In 2022, the city launched its Coyote Response and Coexistence Strategy, intended to reduce human-coyote conflicts.
