Because our time was limited, we decided to go back to the same lake for the afternoon. We set up in a slightly shallower location over a sand flat near some sunken logs. With the snow still falling steadily, we caught two highly respectable rainbows under tip ups and both Ted and I jigged another pair of brook trout, bringing our daily total to seven. We safely released all the fish we caught to fight another day.
