Why we chose it

Chinook; The meeting place for hundreds of migrating chinook

When to fish: June for an abundance of 10- to 25-pounders; August is tyee time.

Where to fish: The Green Can Buoy out of Massett Harbour, Cape Edenshaw out of Naden Harbour and Bird Rock are favourite spots.

Tip: In June, troll a flasher and anchovies; later, use cutplug herring.
