Where in the world can you catch more than a half-dozen muskies a day?

THE RELEASE

Part of the reason Lake St. Clair’s muskie population is so healthy is because the overwhelming majority of anglers practise catch-and-release. Fleming encourages clients to get the fish in the boat as quickly as possible to avoid over-stressing it, and once netted, the fish immediately goes into his custom oversized livewell (above)  to recover before it’s released. The tank is hooked up to the washdown hose, which pulls in fresh water from the lake, so it’s continually getting fresh oxygen.
