Where in the world can you catch more than a half-dozen muskies a day?

THE CAPTAIN

A veritable legend on St. Clair, Fleming bought his first boat from TV fishing legend Red Fisher and has been running charters since 1981. In the spring to mid summer, he charters out of Leamington on Lake Erie for perch and walleye. From mid-summer to the end of October, he operates out of the Lighthouse Cove marina, and concentrates on muskies, with occasional trips out for pike, walleye and smallmouths. The longest muskie he’s had on the boat was 54.5 inches long. Weight-wise, he had another fish that tipped the scales at 39.8 pounds.
