OC tests the new GMC Sierra AT4 (at the Calgary Stampede!)

We’re here to drive trucks and we kick off day two by partnering up and climbing behind the wheel. I get lucky and find a wonderful partner in well-known Ontario angler Ashley Rae. We’re in a 6.2L V-8 model; they also come in 5.3L and a 3.0L Duramax diesel. To begin, Ashley handles the navigation and electronics while I’m at the wheel. The coolest thing out of the gate is the “heads-up” display, projected onto the windscreen. I can monitor some performance measures without looking down at the dash, including my speed. It’s not the least bit distracting, either.
