When fish are fussy, a stinger hook can convert subtle bumps into solid hooksets. Comprising a size 10 treblehook on a 12-pound Sufix fluorocarbon leader, VMC’s super-versatile new trailer aims to do just that (above, top). If your lure has a hook hanger, you can connect the trailer using its fast-snap connector (above left). If there’s no hanger, simply cover the snap with a soft Crossover Cap, then run the lure’s hook through it (above right).
