ICAST’s Best of Show award typically goes to something pricey and sophisticated. This time, however, the honour finally went to a lure. Designed by Bassmaster champ Mike Iaconelli, the Gilly is a detailed, scent-infused imitation of a bluegill (a favourite largemouth meal). Available in 12 colours and three sizes, it features a hollow head to improve hooksets and keep it upright, whether on a Texas rig, swimbait hook or jig.
